How do i solve this??
5x - 7 < 13

Answer: x < 4

Explanation:

Disregarding the lesser than sign, we can treat this equation as 5x-7=13. This doesn't work all the time as there are rules, but those rules don't apply to a simple inequality such as this.

5x-7<13

5x<20

x<4
