2.025 kilograms
Explanation:
Divide 8.1 by 4 - 8.1 ÷ 4 = 2.025
Multiply answer by 4 - 2.025 x 4 = 6.075
Subtract answer from original - 8.1 - 6.075 = 2.025
Answer completed - There are 2.025 kilograms of apples

The total number of pears and apples that the farmer sold at the farmer's market is 8.1 kilograms. 4/5 × 8.1 = 0.8 × 8.1 = 6.48 kilograms.
