To find the area of a triangle we use this equation:


(1)/(2) bh\\

b= base

h= height

So since we are given the information that the sides are 6 and the height is 5 we simply can plug the information right into the equation:


((6)(5))/(2)= 15

So the are is 15 inches sqaured, hope this helps :)
