Red hot- a person/ thing that is very popular, especially someone who is very good at what they do ir something that is new and exciting

To draw a red herring across the track- a piece of information or suggestion introduced to draw attention away from the real facts of the situation

A red letter day- a very happy or important day

Red tape- something that takes much longer than it should and involves more procedures, forms, or rules than makes sense.
