Liz has two pieces of string; one 18cm long, the other 24cm long. She wants to cut them

up to make pieces of string that are all the same length with no string left over. What is the

Answer:

Explanation:

length of the longest string=24

length of the shortest string=18.

for both string to have the same length,

24-x=18

x=24-18

=6cm
