First, find the area of the semi-circle.

A= pi*radius squared

Find your radius. The diameter is 5, half of that is 2.5

Input into the formula

A= pi*2.5^2

=3.14*6.25

=19.625 in^2

You can round that to about 19.6 inches.

Find the area of the square

A=s^2

= 5^2

= 25 in^2

Find the area of the triangle.

A= b*h/2

= 2*5/2

= 10/2

= 5 in^2

Add it all up.

19.6+ 25 + 5= 49.6

∴ 49.6 in²
