X=-5, y=1

Explanation:

Add 3x+-3x to get 0. You are left with

-3y=12

4y=-11

add together

y=1

substitute1 in either equation to solve for x

-3x-3y=12

-3x-3(1)=12

-3x-3=12

-3x=15

x=-5
