Explanation:

To mark up the price you are basically doing 45.85×190%.

If you take a percentage and make it a normal number you need to divide by 100.

190÷100= 1.9

So you multiply 45.85×1.9=87.115

Because this is money you cant have $87 and 11 and a half cents. So you need to round

You need to round up because it is 5, which means that you get $87.12
