Answer: 180 milliliters

Explanation:

There are 22 students and they are to put two spoonfuls into the container.

Total spoonfuls is:

= 22 * 2

= 44 spoonfuls

Each spoonful is 5 milliliters:

= 5 * 44

= 220 milliliters in total.

1 litre = 1,000 milliliters

0.4 litres in milliliters is:

= 0.4 * 1,000

= 400 milliliters

Amount of water left in milliliters is:

= 400 - 220

= 180 milliliters
