The length of two sides of a triangle are 10 cm and 8 cm which measure cannot be the length of the third side of the triangle

Answer:

Triangle inequality theorem:

  • 10 + 8 > x ⇒ x < 18
  • 10 + x > 8 ⇒ x > -2
  • 8 + x > 10 ⇒ x > 2

Combined the inequality is:

  • 2 < x < 18

The length of the third side can't be 2 or smaller or 18 or greater
