Given


k =2


C =(1,4)


A = (2,2)


T =(5,5)

Solving (a): The new points

To do this, we simply multiply the old points by the scale factor.

i.e.


New = Old * k

So:


C' = (1,4) * 2 = (2,8)


A' = (2,2) * 2 = (4,4)


T' = (5,5) * 2 = (10,10)
