Tom

Tax = (11/100) × 13

Tax = $1.43

Tom paid 13 +1.43 = $14.43

Lyn

Tax = (9/100)× 21

Tax = $1.89

Lyn paid 21 + 1.89 = $22.89

b) Lyn paid more for taxes.
