What does the response to the Kansas-Nebraska Act indicate about the relationship of the government with the larger United States population during the second half of the nineteenth century?

It got to be law on May 30, 1854. The Kansas-Nebraska Act canceled the Missouri Compromise, made two unused domains, and permitted for well known sway. It too delivered a savage rebellion known as Dying Kansas, as proslavery and antislavery activists overwhelmed into the domains to influence the vote.
