On a map with a scale of 1:75000 the distance between a hotel and the airport is 5cm. What is the actual distance in km?

Ok so this is how I think you do it
5 x 75000 • 1 = 375000
375000 • 100000 = 3.75
• - divide
So the answer i think is 3.75 km
