x = 2
Explanation:
2²ˣ - 6*2ˣ + 8 = 0
2ˣ = t
t² - 6t + 8 = 0
t² - 6t + 9 = 1
(t - 3)² = 1
t - 3 = 1
t = 4
2ˣ = 4
2ˣ = 2²
x = 2
