For big triangle;

Length of base = 5.2 feet

For small triangle;

Length of base = 1.6 feet

Area of kite

Computation:

Area of kite = 2[Area of big tringle] + 2[Area of small triangle]

Area of kite = 2[(1/2)(b)(h)] + 2[(1/2)(B)(H)]

Area of kite = [(5.2)(2.5)] + [(1.6)(2.5)]

Area of kite = 13 + 4

Area of kite = 17 feet²
