the y intercept of the graph is the point where the graph crosses the y axis , y intercept are refer as vertical intercept

in this case

f(t) = -42 + 10t -25

let t = 0

y = - 42 + 10(0) - 25

y = - 42 - 25

y = -67

point of intercept

x;y

( 0 ; -67 )
