Answer:

45 sweets.

Explanation:

6:2:1

To solve how many Jim and Dan has I did 6 x n and 1 x n until the difference of the two numbers equaled 25.

6 x 5 = 30

1 x 5 = 5

30 - 5 = 25.

So, Jim as 30 candy and Dan has 1. How much does David have?

Just do the same thing but with 2 x n:

2 x 5 = 10.

Now add them together:

30 + 10 + 5 = 45.

Therefore, 45 sweets!
