Answer:

(x+1)²+(y-2)² = 25

Explanation:

Standard equation of the circle is expressed as;

(x-a)²+(y-b)² = r²

(a,b) is the center of the circle

r is the radius

Get the radius

r = √(x2-x1)²+(y2-y1)²

r = √(2+1)²+(6-2)²

r = √3²+4²

r = √9+16

r = √25

r = 5

Substitute into the formula

(x-a)²+(y-b)² = r²

a = -1, b = 2, r = 5

(x-(-1))²+(y-2)² = 5²

(x+1)²+(y-2)² = 25

This gives the required equation
