A student claims that the HCF/GCF/HCD/GCD of two numbers must be less than the two numbers. Do you agree? If not, give a counter example to disproof it.

Explanation:

For example, the GCF of 8 and 16 is 8. The GCF just has to be the greatest factor of both numbers, it doesn't have to be smaller.
