if someone loses their home they should receive some kind of help or reward?

Yes but it depends on the situation if the person just didnt want to pay his bills or wasnt adult enough to see he needed to pay he shouldn’t get any reward. With different situations like flooding or fires then they should get a reward

I believe that the individual should receive some sort of support from the Government. I believe this because, the government already gives money to people who have lost their jobs, so it does not make sense if they do not give money to people who have lost their homes as well.
