Answer:

Slope intercept form:

y = 2x + 8

Explanation:

Parallel lines have same slope. SO find the slope of 2x - y = 2

2x - y = 2

-y = -2x + 2

Multiply both sides by (-1)

-y*(-1) = -2x*(-1) + 2 *(-1)

y = 2x - 2

Slope = 2

m =2 and point (1 , 10)

Slope point form: y - y1 = m(x -x1)

y - 10 = 2(x - 1)

y - 10 =2x - 2

y = 2x - 2 + 10

y = 2x + 8
