Why does each state have the same number of senators and a different

number of representatives?

Representatives are based upon the population size while senators are 2 per state

Answer:there are 2 senators for each state to keep equality between the states. The representatives that a state has are based on the state’s population. The more population a state has, the more representatives it has.
