Here is your answer:

The civil war was the war against slavery in America. The civil lasted about 4 years starting in April 12, 1861 - April 9, 1865. The civil war began when the south (confederate states), attacked Fort Sumter in the north ( union states ).The first battle was called the first battle of Bull Run. The last battle was called battle of Palmito Ranch. The bloodiest day in the civil war is the battle of Antietam. The South took just 9 million people — including 3.5 million slaves — in 11 confederate states. Despite the North's greater population, however, the South had an army almost equal in size during the first year of the war. The North had an enormous industrial advantage as well! So it was a bit tough. The result of the civil war was the dissolution of the Confederate States,U.S. territorial integrity preserved, Slavery abolished, Beginning of the Reconstruction era, Passage and ratification of the 13th, 14th and 15th amendments to the Constitution of the United States. As you see in this paragraph the civil war was a war that lasted 4 years and the result? Well after the war, thousands of slaves were free. The civil war did help shape the world we know today. If it were not for the civil war thousands of black and browns might have still been enslaved.

Hope this helps!!! Also I hope this gets Answer expert verified!!
