Did the Harlem Renaissance strengthen or weaken American society in the

I would say it strengthened the American society for African Americans because it really focused on racial pride for African Americans and the increase of population of African Americans would help them get a message through for civil rights. This also drawn creativity in for new artistic development of African American arts.
