-2x² + x + 21

Common factor

-2x² + x + 21

-1(2x²-x-21)

Use the sum-product pattern

-1(2x²-x-21)

-1(2x² +6x-7x - 21)

Common factor from the two pairs

-1(2x² + 6x - 7x - 21)

-1(2x(x + 3) - 7(x+3))

Rewrite in factored form

-1(2x(x + 3) - 7(x+3))

-1(2x-7)(x+3)

Answer :-
{\large{ \red{{{-1(2x-7)(x+3)}}}}}
