Yes they are. Let’s distribute to make sure.
4(-2b+5)
4 x -2b is -8b
4 x 5 is 20 which gives you
-8b+20
2(-4b+10)
2 x -4b is -8b
2 x10 is 20
Which also gives you -8b+20
