A drought is a period of unusually low rainfall. A farmer notices that well

on the farm stops providing water during a drought. A nearby lake also has less water in it than usual. Write a
couple of sentences that explains what has happened to the water table in the area to cause these results.

Due to the drought, the water goes through the process of evaporation where it turns into a gas causing less water in the well and lake
