When you read a play, how do you know the characters are interrupting each other?

1. You see very short but complete sentences
2. you see a sentence fragment followed by a dash
3. you see a long sentence with many nouns and verbs
4. you see a list of items separated by a comma
1, 2, 3, or 4? with one?

I’m pretty sure the answer would be 2 because the others don’t necessarily mean it’s interrupted. Hope this helped :)
