(0,1) and (-5,-5) are coordinates that you already know and are fs about. So you just see rise over run. 6/5 = 1.2 which is your slope. the y-int is 1 bc thats where it intersects. so your equation is y=1.2x+1

double check:

y = 1.2(-5) + 1

y = -6 + 1

y = -5
