Explanation:

From ideal gas formula,

PV=nRT

Where n= number of moles

V= volume

T= temperature=25.0°C

= (273 + 25) = 298 K

R= gas constant = 0.082 l atm /K mol.

Making P subject of formula we have

P= [nRT] /V

Then substitute the values we have

P= [0.5 x 0.082 x 298] / 10

P= 1.2218 atm
