This left him feeling paralyzed, burning with fever and little chance of survival. It was the efforts of Philip, a Greek doctor who healed him with potions.
3. Clash of kings
Traveling further into the East, he was met by King Darius and his huge army. They battled along the banks of the Pinarus river and Alexander got hurt on the thigh while fighting. Luckily for them, King Darius retreated with his army, leaving King Alexander and his small army victorious.
