Since its isosceles right triangle, then 2 sides are going to be the same. There are 2 legs that are in any triangle, they give us 1 leg so now we know what the other leg is. Now the formula for finding hypotenuse is a2+b2=c2.


3^(2)+3x^(2) =c^(2) 3 squared is 9, so 9+9=18

now we have c but we arent done so now we find the square root,
โˆš(18). Which is
3โˆš(2) or 4.24.
