Use Pythagorean theorem
a^2 + b^2 = c^2
c being the hypothenuse
2.7^2 + 4.8^2 = c^2
7.29 + 23.04 = c^2
c^2 = 30.33, c = squareroot 30.33
Use calculator: it’s 5.50726
Round to hundredth

Solution: 5.51 cm
