Given:

The linear equation is:

2x+2y=2

To find:

The statement that best describes the graph of the given linear equation.

Solution:

The slope intercept form of a linear function is:

y=mx+b ...(i)

Where, m is the slope anf b is the y-intercept.

We have,

2x+2y=2

It can be written as:

2y=2-2x

y=(2-2x)/(2)

y=1-x

y=-x+1 (ii)

On comparing (i) and (ii), we get

m=-1,b=1

Therefore, the graph has a slope of -1 and a y-intercept of 1. Hence option D is correct.
