Explanation:

First off, F is moved 4 units right and 2 units down: add 4 to the x component of the coordinate and take 2 from the y component:

-3+4=1

7-2=5

So our point is (1.5) before it is reflected over the y-axis.

When a point (a,b) is reflected over the y-axis, it's coordinates change to (a,-b). Therefore (1,5) changes to (1,-5)
