To find the perimeter you have to add together all the sides given.
First find the circumference of the semi-circle which is using the formula (2piR/2)
2*pi*3 / 2 = 3pi “R is radium which is half of the diameter” now we know that the circumference of the semi-circle is 3pi
Now the side at which lays the circle is opposite to 8cm side hence it will equal 8cm in total
So the side at which the semi-circle lays
= 3pi + 2cm remaining
(3pi)+2+6+6+8=31.42477796
Now round the answer to 1 d.p

Perimeter = 31.4cm
