Maria had 10.5 pounds of flour. She used all of the flour to fill bags that hold 0.75 pound each.

How many bags was she able to fill? (:

There are 16 oz per pound, so that 4 oz is equal to 4/16 or 1/4 pound.

Since each box contains 10 packages and each package weighs 3 lbs 4 oz which is equivalent to 3-1/4 lbs , then the weight of each box will be

(10 (3-1/4) = 32-1/2 pounds per box

The weight of 4 boxes will then be (4 boxes) (32-1/2 pounds per box) = 130 pounds.
