Can someone please help me repase this so me and my friend don’t have the same answer.

One way that Sophocles uses "sight" or the "eyes" as a metaphor to explain Oedipus as a tragic hero by when the messengers say things like, "I was not there to see the horror taking place." This shows that they are forshadowing that Oedipus is going to take out his eyes.

Sophocles uses "sight" "eyes" and "see" as a way of foreshadowing that Oedipus is going to take out his eyes. It is also a metaphor for Oedipus being a tragic hero.
