You insert the 3.3 next to CO2. The easiest now is to calculate the carbon on the reactant side.

You already have 3 carbon but need 3.3 so if you calculate 3.3/3=1.1

Carbons are now equal on both sides.

Now look at hydrogen. At the reactant side, you have 1.1*8= 8.8 of H.

You need to make equal on product side. do 8.8/2 =4.4 so you put the 4.4 in front of h2o.

last bit is oxygen. on the product side you have (3.3*2) +(4.4*1) = 11 oxygen.

You just need to make that equal on the reactant side now. you already have 2 oxygen so you times it by 5.5.
