Explanation:

base = 2ac²

base = 2x4x2²

base = 2x4x4

base = 32cm

height = base + 6cm

height = 32 + 6cm

height = 38cm

Area of triangle = ½ x base x height

Area = ½ x 32 x 38

Area = 1216/2

Area = 608 cm²

Therefore the area of the triangle is 608cm²
