If the radius of a circle is 3, calculate the diameter.

also can anyone please explain how to do this? i would really appreciate it.

Answer:

The diameter would be 6

Explanation:

the radius is half of a diameter, so you would have to double the radius to get the diameter

d=2r

=2(3)

=6

The diameter reaches across the circle, while the radius reaches only half way, so you would have to double the radius to get the diameter (2r)
