Two rectangular picture frames have the same area of 45 square inches but have different side lengths. Frame A has a length of 6 3/4 inches, and Frame B has a length of 7 1/2 inches. What is the width of frame a and frame b. Without calculating predict which frame has a shorter width explain your reasoning

Answer:

Frame A: 6 1/3 inches Frame B: 6 inches

Explanation:

Area= length*width

So... 45 / 6 3/4= 6 1/3

45 / 7 1/2= 6

For the prediction you can put... since fram B is a longer length it will have a shorter width than frame A
