for solve the bracket we have to multiply 1/5 for x and for -1

x+1/5x-1/5 = 1

now we have to multiply the two members of the equation by 5

5(x+1/5x-1/5) = 5

5x + x - 1 = 5

now we have to sum 1 at both members

5x + x -1+1 = 5+1

6x = 6

at least we have to divide the two members by 6

x = 1 that is the solution of the equation
