In a 30°-60°-90° triangle, the side opposite of the 60° angle is 5V3. What is the length of

the hypotenuse? Just write the number.

Sin(60) = √3 /2

Hypotenuse = x

Sin(60) = √3/2 = 5√3 / x

√3/2 = 5√3 / x Multiply both sides by x

x √3/2 = 5√3 Divide both sides by √3

x/2 = 5

x = 10

The hypotenuse is 10 units long.
