Answer:

Use distance formula to find the length of the segments

1. H = (-3, 0), F = (3, 2)

  • HF =
    √((3 + 3)^2+2^2) = √(40) = 6.3 (rounded)

2. E = (1, 4), G = (-1, -2)

  • EG =
    √((-1 - 1)^2+(-2-4)^2) = √(40) = 6.3

3. We see the diagonals are congruent, opposite sides are parallel.
