There are 5 yellow candies for every 6 candies.

5x4 is 20, and we know there are 20 yellow candys (The 5 in the multiplication problem being the 5 yellow candies for every 6 candies.).

So, then I multiplied 6x4 to get 24. This may not always work but it is a (I believe) a proportional relationship.

then you would do 6*4 which would be 24
