• Fat soluble vitamins: Fat-soluble vitamins are the vitamins that are stored in fatty tissue in our body and also stored in the liver as well. They are stored in our body until it's needed. There are 4 fat-soluble vitamins which are A, D, E and K.

• Water soluble vitamins: These are the vitamins that can be used by the body instantly and need not to be stored. There are 9 water-soluble vitamins which are 8 B vitamins and also vitamin C.
