Answer:

Biodiversity is all about the different living species we have on earth, such as animals, plants, bacteria, and including fungi. It also includes species that have not been discovered yet, along with microorganisms and invertebrates. Why is it important, you may ask? Well, Biodiversity prevents certain animals from being extinct, allows organisms to adapt to the environment around them, and in addition, provides an excessive amount of food and materials for survival. Lastly, Biodiversity helps support our Ecosystem, so in the long run, it can withstand and recover from a multitude of disasters.

I hope this helps! :)
