Precipitation and temperature provide a suitable environment for the organisms and plants found in the coniferous biome. In this biome the temperature usually warm in summer that ranges from -40 degrees Celsius to 20 degrees Celsius over the year including warm summer and cold snowy winters. The rain or precipitation also affects biodiversity as the rainfall ranges from 30 to 89 cm over the year.

The high temperatures and rain make a warm, damp ecosystem that is suitable for organisms like insects and organism that depends on these insects and other organisms who requires these suitable warmer and climate in summer and cold winters also finds. The plants mostly have needles instead of leaves and coniferous that are able to found in these areas.
